Return of the Little Paws Design Team Card using For the Love of Stamps Products and Hunkydory Papers

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Return of the Little Paws collection using For the Love of Stamps and Hunkydory products. Here I have made a playful card where the dog looks like he is playing peek-a-boo within the circles.

I used the collection paper for the background and cut the circles out using the Moonstone Nesting Dies in Circles. I stamped the dogs in Versafine Onyx Black and coloured with my Nuvo Marker Pens and cut out the dogs using foam pads to layer within the circle.

Imagine Design Create Design Team Birthday Car Themed Card using Star Mix and Cars Stamps

Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing a card that combines one of my favourite stamp sets with a new stamp set! I have used A6 Star Mix with A6 Cars by Imagine Design Create and love this combination.

A simple card using Distress Oxide Inks, Versafine Onyx Black and the Tonic Nuvo Aqua Flow Water brush. Ideal for those tricky man cards that I know a lot of crafters struggle with.

Birthday Card for my Mum using Just My Cup of Tea Stamps by For the Love of Stamps and Distress Oxides

Hi Everyone! 

Today I am sharing a card I made for my Mum's Birthday using the Just My Cup of Tea stamps by For the Love of Stamps by Hunkydory. The Mum is a stamp that came with Making Cards Magazine and can be found here.

 

I used a Masking Sheet and Versafine in Onyx Black to create the stamped image and Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber to create the background and colour the image.

Vanity Mirror Design Team Card using Return of the Little Paws Stamps and Papers - For the Love of Stamps by Hunkydory

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Return of the Little Paws collection using For the Love of Stamps and Hunkydory products. Here I tried to create a vanity dressing table / mirror with the flower vase and kitten.

I used the plain side of the peachy coloured Perfect Stamping Pad Polka Dots and the Silver Mirri Mat cut into a circle for the mirror (using the Moonstone Nesting Dies in Circles).

Darts Themed Borthday Card using Hunkydory Sporting Life Whopped Topper Pad and X-Cut Dies

Good Morning Everyone! 

Today I am sharing a card I made using the A5 Whopper Topper Pad - Sporting Life by Hunkydory to make a personalised Dart themed card for a Birthday.

I used X-cut Mini dies for the sentiment and lettering cutting them out of Hunkydory Gold Mirri Mats. I layered the image decoupage style with foam pads. Very pleased with this sporty themed card.

Design Team Decorated Fairy Door for Fiskarettes UK and Stix 2

Hello Everyone! 

Today I am sharing a collaborated project I created for the Fiskarettes UK and Stix2 partnership. There are some lovely prizes to be won over on the Fiskarettes UK and Stix2 Facebook pages!

 For my Project I decorated a Fairy Door (and my Daughter also had a go) using Fiskars Punches and Stix2 products.

 

I made the larger flowers using the Stix2 Melt and Mould 3D foam with the Flower Power Punch. I found the Pierce It Tool is fab for getting the foam out of the punch. I heat embossed these with gold and white embossing powder and finished by using the Stix2 Holtmelt Glue Gun and the Stix2 seed beads (gold mix) for the centre. 

 I then painted the wooden door in a pastel pink. Once dry I added a fine layer of Stix2 PVA glue and then the pastel purple paint. This is to give the paint a fine crackled effect. Before the paint had dried I added a sprinkle of fine Stix2 gold glitter.

Then I used a glitter glue stick I had in my stash with the Stix2 Holtmelt Glue Gun to create the side branches and adhere the glass window. 

 I added punched leaves to the melt and mould flowers. These are made using the Fiskars feather punch, where I re-inserted the feather and punched about halfway down to create a smaller leaf. I then brushed my Gold Nuvo Glitter Marker over the leaves to create veins.

I also added other Fiskars punched flowers using the cross stitch and daisy punches, putting gems and pearls in the centres with my trustly Stix2 Glue Pen, I like this pen as it's small enought to glue finer things with and dries clear! I finished by creating a banner, adhering with Stix2 Craft Foam Pads and adding flowers to this as well. I went around my banners with my

Gold Nuvo Glitter Marker to add some sparkle.

The above door is the one my Daughter decoarated. She is three so I think she did a fab job and we had so much fun - quality Mummy and Daughter time!!!

Imagine Design Create Eclipse Design Team Card using Finley's Flowers Paper Pack

Hi Everyone,

Here is what I've made this week using Finley's Flowers Paper Pack by Imagine Design Create. I decided to keep this simple and create an Eclipse Card using a die cut sentiment in the middle of the papers and layering up with the same sentiment cut 3 more times with the contrasting border paper.

To finish I added a few scattered sequins.

I love the quality of these papers and the photographs by Finley (who is 5!!!) are stunning!

Fiskarettes Design Team Cloud Punch Challenge - Gelato Scrapbook Page

Hello Everyone! 

This week over on the Fiskarettes UK Facebook Page we are looking at different ways to use the Cloud Squeeze Punch. I had a fun idea to create a Gelato tub like the ones I had in Italy. Here is my Scrapbook page:

I used the Interchangeable Border Punch with Dots, the Daisy Punch, 3 in 1 Label Punch and Squeeze Cloud Punch. I used the waste dots for the sprinkles on the gelato and as confetti across the page. I also used my Non stick micro tip Fiskars scissors to cut my gelato pot :)

Good Morning To You All! 

Today I am sharing a card I made for my Sister when she moved into her new home with her partner. I've been itching to use my stunning Twilight Kingdom Collection and thought this castle image was perfect for a new home card!

This image is out of The Little Book of Twilight Kingdom and the background is actually one of the inserts from the collection. I punched out a stamped greeting and layered with black card. To finish I added a few scattered sequins for extra magic!

Imagine Design Create DT Card - Never Stop Making Wishes and Diamond Mix – Black Gelato Card

Hi Everyone,

I have a quick reminder that Imagine Design Create will be on Hochanda this Thursday at 4pm! I'll be tuning in to see the fab demos by the lovely Claire :)

Today I am sharing an scribbled background card I made using the Never Stop Making Wishes and Diamond Mix stamps sets by Imagine Design Create, Distress Oxides in Black Soot, Worn Lipstick and Broken China with Faber-Castell Gelatos. I also used a touch of Tonic Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Lilac Lavendar around the edges.

I was just experimenting with this card. I scribbled the Gelatos and tried blending with water. Then stamped my diamonds and sentiment with Oxides. I tried stamping with the Nuvo Mousse but this didn’t work very well, so I used this round the edges and added some sequins to finish. I’m rather pleased with the outcome!
