For the Love of Stamps Design Team Card using Birth Flowers Stamps

Hello Everyone!

Today I have another of my Design Team Cards to share from the beautiful Hunkydory Birth Flowers range. My card has been made with the lovely stamps by For the Love of Stamps.

For this card I have used the Daffodil stamp which is the Rose flower and wanted to create some different textures for this card, so I distressed the edges of the card and used one of the background papers that looked textured.

Products Used:

Birth Flowers Stamps

5” x 5” Card Blank, Matt-tastic Card

Ink Me! Professional Stamping Card

Masking Sheet punched out as 1” circle

Versafine Ink– Onyx Black

Distress Inks; Broken China, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet

Distress Oxides; Fossilized Amber, Lucky Clover, Waterbrush

Black Fineliner, Glitter Glue

Tape and Foam Pads

I created a Distress Oxide background and stamped onto this using the Oxide ink to stamp the rose wording to make the backgound. I stamped the rose in versafine ink and used a waterbrush with the oxide ink to colour. I added pen lines, a hand cut banner and gems to finish.

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing one of my Design Team Cards from the Hunkydory Birth Flowers range! My card has been made with the lovely Birth Flowers stamps by For the Love of Stamps.

For this card I have used the February stamp which is the Violet and I used a strip of the masking sheet to create the white line to stamp the wording into.

Products Used:

Birth Flowers Stamps
4” x 8” Card blank, Matt-tastic Card
Ink Me! Professional Stamping Card
Masking Sheet cut into a strip
Distress Oxides; Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Lucky Clover
Versafine Ink– Onyx Black

Icut a line of masking sheet for the middle and stamped the flowers on either side. Once I removed the tape I stamped the wording across the centre. I used the oxide inks to colour with a waterbrush, layered with the matt-tastic and added some gems to finish .

Imagine Design Create Guest Design Team Card - Dream Big - Using Star Mix stamp set

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a single layer card I have created using the funky Star Mix, Reach for the Stars Stamp Sets by Imagine Design Create and Distress Oxide Inks. I love the ombre look and thought the star stamps would be fab as an ombre background!

The original post can be found here!

I have used:

6” x 6” card blank

White and black Cardstock

Distress Oxide Ink: Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilised Amber

Versafine Ink: Onyx Black

Double Sided Tape

This is such a simple card. I began by stamping the orange stars down the middle of the white square. I then cleaned the stamp and used the yellow ink to the right of the orange stars, lining up where the stars indent to create the background.

I then repeated this process on the other side using the red ink to create the really cool background. To finish I stamped the sentiment and the hanging stars in black and layered onto black card.

Such a simple but fun card, the ombre colour combos are endless and if you batch make the backgrounds these are ready to hand for when you need them!

Fishing Bag 50th Birthday Card using Collage-a-Card Gone Fishin' kit by Hunkydory

Hi Everyone and Welcome Back!

Today I am sharing a card I have made for a 50th Birthday. The birthday boy isinto fishing so I thought this fishing bag card would be perfect!

This is a kit that is part of the Collage-a-Card range by Hunkydory and comes as a two pack with a golfing bag as well (Golfing Guy and Gone Fishin') - and is currently on sale here!

For this I copied the layout from the sample on the Hunkydory website and added in the name and age using Gold Mirri Card, my trusty Robert Addams All Occasion Dies (Small Number) and mini alphabet x-cut dies.

For the Love of Stamps Birth Flowers Design Team Card using Masking

Good Morning Everybody!

Today I am sharing another of my Design Team Cards from the new Hunkydory Birth Flowers stamps by For the Love of Stamps. There is a whole beautiful range which can be found on the Hunkydory website

For this card I have used the April stamp which is the Sweet Pea flower and wanted to create a fun background against the flowers. To make the circle worded background I used the waste circle from the Stamping Mirri Mats - Circles, how I used this can be seen below - I stamped and masked the flowers and then taped the circle down ready for stamping.

I then stamped the sentiment words across the circle in green ink to create the simple but interesting background.

Products Used:

Birth Flowers Stamps

5” x 5” Card blank, Matt-tastic Card

Ink Me! Professional Stamping Card

Masking Sheet & Waste Circle from Stamping Mirri Mats - Circle

Distress Oxides; Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves, Lucky Clover

Waterbrush, Foam Pads, Tape, Gems

To finish I coloured the flowers with a waterbrush and oxide inks, then layered and added gems to the corners.

Imagine Design Create Guest Design Team Card - If Friends were Flowers ... Single Layer Stamped Card

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing a single layer card I have created using the sweet Doodled Flowers Stamp Set by Imagine Design Create and Alcohol Pens. I wanted the beautiful sentiment to stand out so decided to stamp the flowers around the edges.

The original Post can be found here!

I have used:
6” x 6” scalloped card blank
White and pink Cardstock
Promarker Pens: Blossom, Fuchsia Pink, Magenta, Soft Lime, Apricot, Bright Orange
Sequins, PVA Glue, Double Sided Tape

I began by stamping the various flowers from the set around the corners of a white square card, I built the flower pattern up gradually going from large to small flowers, trying to fill the gaps in with the branch part. I then stamped the sentiment off centre for an interesting focus. I coloured the flowers in paying particular attention to my blending and finished by layering and added a few sequins. I really love this stamp set, it is so pretty and the sentiment is perfect!
