Monochrome Style Inspired Car Birthday Card for Imagine Design Create

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card to share that has been inspired by the Monochrome Style, where everything is one colour. I went with the classic black / grey colour theme. 
For this card I used the Cars Stamps and the centre part of the Circles and Squares Stencil by Imagine Design Create!

I used Distress Oxides in Black Soot with my Tonic Nuvo Aqua Water Brush, Onyx Black Versafine Ink and a black fineliner for this card.

You Passed Design Team Card for Imagine Design Create using Cars Stamps and Squares Mask with Distress Oxides

Hi Everyone,

Here is what I've made this week using the A6 stamp set Cars and the squares from the Circles and Squares Stencil by Imagine Design Create. I had a play with creating an inky background using the stencil and stamps, then fussy cut out the card and layered with foam pads.

The inks I have used are Versafine in Onyx Black and Distress Oxides in Lucky Clover and Peacock Feathers.

Blooming Fabulous Guest Design Team Card for Imagine Design Create using Doddled Flowers Stamps

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing an inky card I have created using the beautiful Doodled Flowers Stamp Set, Circles and Squares Stencil by Imagine Design Create with Distress Inks and Oxides.

For this card I have also used:

6” x 6” Scalloped Card Blank

White Heavy Weight Card

Black Card

Versafine Onyx Black Ink

Blending Tool, Water filled brush

Distress Inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China, Wilted Violet

Distress Oxides: Broken China, Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron

Black Fine liner Pen, Masking Tape, Double Sided Tape

I started by masking the stencil to one corner of the card square and inking through with the purple ink along the card edges, gradually blending with the blues toward the centre of the card.

I then moved the stencil to the next corner lining up so the circles follow on and continue with the blending until the whole background is covered in circles.

I then take the purple ink around the edges blending softly toward the middle and lay out the flower, leaves and sentiment stamps I plan to use. I stamp the flowers and leaves down through the middle, stamp the sentiment in the corner and hand draw the black border.

I stamp the Oxide ink onto my acrylic block and use a water filled brush to pick up the ink and colour the stamped images. I love Oxides as lay on top of other inks and are really bold.

To finish I matt the card onto black card and adhere to a scalloped card blank.

I love playing around with ink and don’t always have a plan for the finished card. Sometimes I have clear ideas and then other times I see where the ink takes me, I love experimenting and am pleased with this finished card!

Penguin Christmas Card using Free Die from Papercraft Essentials Magazine and Circle and Square Stencil by Imagine Design Create

Hi Everyone! 

Today I am sharing a Chrsitmas card I have made using the super cute Free Dies from Papercraft Essentials Magazine and the Circles and Squares stencil by Imagine Design Create for the background.

The tore some paper to create the snowy floor with Distress Ink and used the ink through the circles on the stencil to create the snowfall for the background. I die cut the penguins in black and inked the snowflakes and finished by stamping the sentiment (Making Cards Magazine) and adding some glitter glue and sequins.

Diamond Love Guest Design Team Card for Imagine, Design, Create - Shine bright like a diamond

Hi Everyone,

 

Today I am sharing a card I created using the lovely Diamond Love Stamp Set and the Circles and Squares stencil by Imagine Design Create.

 I had lots of fun creating this background using the circles from the stencil and Distress Inks.

I have also used:

5” x 5” scalloped card blank

White Cardstock

Distress Inks: Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry, water spray bottle

Blending tool, Black Ink

White sequins, Clear Glitter Glue

To start I inked around the edges and then inked through the stencil to create the background. I then splashed and sprayed water across the background for a distressed look.

I did the same with a smaller piece of card for the greeting and circle diamond. I also stamped the smaller diamonds directly onto the background and used scissors to rough up the edges of each coloured background.

 I then layered onto white card, used clear glitter on the main diamond image and added a few sequins to finish.

Wish Guest Design Team Card using Imagine Design Create Never Stop Making Wishes Stamps

Hello Everyone 

Today I am sharing a card I created using the Never Stop Making Wishes stamps the Circles and Squares stencil using Imagine Design Create stamps and mask.

I had lots of fun creating this background using the circles from the stencil and Distress Inks. 

I have also used: 

6” x 6” card blank 

White Cardstock: 300 gsm Green cardstock 

Distress Inks: Wilted Violet and Mermaid Lagoon, water spray bottle 

Blending tool, Black Ink 

Purple sequins 

 To start I inked around the edges and then inked through the stencil to create the background. I then splashed and sprayed water across the background for a distressed look. 

I did the same with a smaller card for the greeting. I stamped the wish seeds directly onto the background and used scissors to rough up the edges. I then layered onto matching paper and added a few sequins to finish.

Christmas Nesting Star Guest Design Team Card for Imagine Design Create

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a quick card I made using the Nesting Stars Stamp Set and the Circles and Squares stencil using Imagine Design Create Stamps and Mask.

I used some Christmas paper from my stash for the background and had a play with using the circles from the mask over the stamped stars.

I have also used:

8” x 8” Card Blank

Christmas Paper from my stash, White Card

Star Punches

Sequins

Distress Ink in Wilted Violet and Broken China

Blending tool

Double Sided Tape, Foam Pads, PVA glue

I kept this card simple by stamping the nesting stars, cutting them out and inking round the edges. Then I placed the stencil overtop and added the circle pattern. These would also look great as hanging stars either on the card or tree decorations!
