Rainbow Twirling Ballerinas Card using Prism Ink Pads by For the Love of Stamps and Hunkydory

Good Morning To You All!

Today I am sharing a Design Team card I made using the fab new Prism Ink Pads from Hunkydory which are perfect to use with the For the Love of Stamps range! Here is my simple rainbow greeting card using the Twirling Ballerinas stamp set:

To make this card I used the Prism Ink Pads in: Red Chilli, Orange Zest, Canary Yellow, Olive Green, Blue Lagoon, French Navy and Purple Velvet.
I stamped these colours in the order of a rainbow to create the main image and matched the Perfect Backgrounds Papers cutting these in strips for the border. I creates an ombre greeting by tapping different inks across the stamp.

Monochrome Style Inspired Car Birthday Card for Imagine Design Create

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card to share that has been inspired by the Monochrome Style, where everything is one colour. I went with the classic black / grey colour theme.
For this card I used the Cars Stamps and the centre part of the Circles and Squares Stencil by Imagine Design Create!

The original blog post can be found here!

I used Distress Oxides in Black Soot with my Tonic Nuvo Aqua Water Brush, Onyx Black Versafine Ink and a black fineliner for this card.

Fiskarettes Design Team Scrapbook Layout with Peacock made using Feather Squeeze Punch

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a scrapbook page I made for the Fiskarettes using the Feather Squeeze Punch and the Shape Cutter with the Labels Template.

On my holiday in Italy we stayed on a farm and there was a Peacock, just hanging out in the garden! My daughter kept trying to chase it around and we was lucky enough to see the tail feathers on display - although the Peahen did not seem very impressed!

For the Peacock I used my Feather Squeeze Punch which made cutting out so may feathers super quick and easy. The title is one of the labels cut with the shape cutter, perfect for journalling on the page.

More inspiration can be found on the facebook Fiskarettes UK page and on Instagram!

Then put the Snowfall Acetate in the centre of the card and layered my diecuts on the acetate and front of the card. I used the Moonstone Dies: Festive Fairies and Prancing Pixies.

Imagine Design Create Design Team Roses and Hearts Stencil Card with Distress Oxides and Gesso

Hi and Welcome Back!

Don't forget that the lovely Claire will be on Hochanda this Saturday with some lovely new products by Imagine Design Create - the shows are at 11am and 3pm!!!

Today I have a tutorial for a card I have made using the Roses Stencil, Butterflies and Hearts Stencil and Colour Splash Stamps by Imagine Design Create. I have also used my favourite Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron with white Gesso.

I started by creating the backgound using the oxides on an acrylic block, sprayed with water and smooshed onto the paper to create a fun background.

Smooshing involves pressing the block onto the paper so the colour smooshes together.

I repeated this across the page to create my basic background.

I then used my Tonic Nuvo Aqua water brush to pick up oxide colours and paint through the stencil. Once dried I added black sketchy lines with a fine liner.

I then used white gesso to paint in the white hearts through the stencil across the page.

I stamped my sentiment and the fussy cut out the roses to put on with foam pads.

I then attached the square to a blank card to finish.

Twilight Christmas Card using A Christmas Wish Stamps by For the Love of Stamps by Hunkydory

Good Morning To You All!

Today I am sharing another Twilight Christmas Card from the beautiful Hunkydory collection which includes the fab new A Christmas Wish stamp set by For the Love of Stamps! My card today includes an acetate window which was so much fun to make.
I spent a little while working out where I wanted the different stamped and die cut elements and what needed to be on the front of the card and inside. I used the Moonstone Dies Festive Fairies and Prancing Pixies.

I used the fab new A Magical Christmas Adorable Scorable card for the card front. I also love the Snowfall Acetate as it is so pretty and works so well for extra dimension for this card.

I love how the window helps create dimension and used the Moonstone Scalloped and Straight Edge Circle Nesting Dies.

I used the fab Perfect Stamping Backgrounds A Magical Christmas from the Twilight Christmas Collection for the inside of this card.
