Little Claire Designs - Design Team Card using Stacks of Clocks Stamps

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a Design Team card I made for the Little Claire Designs Hochanda show which was shown last Saturday. You can catch the rewind show here. For this card I used the cute stamp set Stack of Clocks - I just love the mice and the footprints with the perfect sentiments.

This card was actually shown on the show :)

I kept this one simple using some Little Claire Papers from my stash and layering against a dark brown. I stamped the feet across the paper and coloured my stamped clocks with Promarkers. To finish I added a banner sentiment and some little cross stitches with my lovely Fiskars Cross Stitch Punch.

Imagine Design Create Design Team Card using Retro Gamer and Gamer Quotes: Experience Card

Hello Everyone,

Today I am excited to share my first card as a member of the full Imagine Design Create Design Team! I have guest designed for a few months now and super happy to have been asked to become a full time member. I've also got a fab discount code for you! If you use my code you can get 15% off your order!!! The code is:
SB2018IDCDT

I have used one of my favourite stamp sets for this card - Retro Gamer and Gamer Quotes stamp sets. I decided to also use the stars from Star Mix to give this card a retro funky feel. I have combined these with some Distress Oxides to create a vintage feel to the card. The original blog post can be found here!

I have also used:
6” x 6” white card blank
5 ¾” x 5 ¾” white card

This card was fairly simple I stamped the stars around the edges firstly in Fossilized Amber and leaving gaps to fill in with Broken China, twisting the stamp round to create different patterns. I then stamped the sentiments and a few background patterns in Vintage Photo to create the surround for the centre. Lastly I stamped the space invaders and the shooter and the blended the Vintage Photo Ink around the edges to finish.

I love using contrast of the Distress Oxides on white giving this card a clean yet grungy / funky / vintage feel.

Fiskarettes Foamiran Flower Decorative Heart using Fiskars In Bloom Squeeze Punch and Petal by Petal Squeeze Punch

Good Evening Everyone!

Today I am sharing my Fiskarettes Design Team Decorative Heart I made using the In Bloom and Petal by Petal Squeeze Punches with Foamiran.

I painted my wooden heart with gesso and punched out four flowers in a pale peachy Foamiran.

I used Faber-Castell Gelatos and to colour my Foamiran and my iron to heat and roll the petals to create the texture.

I used Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide through a Tim Holtz stencil across the heart, blended the edges of the heart with the pink colour.

I finished my flower with hot glue from my Stix2 Glue Glun and added stamens in white and some leaves coloured with the Frayed Burlap ink.

I love the depth of the flower and how cute this project has turned out.

Crafty Ribbons Design Team Card using Bake Ribbons and Ribbon Threader Die by John Next Door

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am sharing a Design Team card for Crafty Ribbons I made with ribbons from the Bake Ribbons Collection. I used: Cake Slice Large, Cake Slice Small and Cut a Slice Cinnamon. You can see the original blog post over at Crafty Ribbons Inspiration here

On the Design Team facebook group we have been chatting about a new die set by John Next Door which is for ribbon threading. It sounded fab and so I decided to treat myself to the dies. It took some working out in my head how I wanted to use them and which ribbons would work but I'm so happy with them!

It was very easy to thread the ribbon once I die cut and I love how I've made my card all about the beautiful ribbon!

To finish my card I added a bow and some gems and pearls to act like sprinkles on top of the cakes!!!

Diamond Dream and Wish Tags using Distress Spray Stains - Guest Design Team Project for Imagine Design Create

 Hello Everyone,

Today I am sharing some tags I have made using the pattern stamp set Diamond Mix and a sentiment from Never Stop Making Wishes by Imagine Design Create . I have used Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxides for these tags.
You can view the original blog post here!

I have also used:
2” x 3.5” White Card with the end punched into a tag shape
Distress Spray Stains: Picked Raspberry, Antiqued Bronze and Picket Fence
Distress Oxide Ink: Walnut Stain, water filled brush, Blending Tool
Bakers Twine, White Gel Pen, Gems

I stamped the four diamond stamp onto the tags in different places using the Oxide ink, the sprayed the tags with the three different Spray Stains to blend them together.

I inked up the large solid diamond gently to give it a distressed look, so the stamp is not totally covered in the ink. Then use the water brush to blend a little.

I stamped the sentiment in the Oxide ink where there was a kind of gap in the design and then once dry added some white gel pen to highlight the words. I cut the bakers twine to length and sprayed this with the pink stain to create matching coloured twine.

To finish I blended the Oxide ink around the edges of the tags and added some pink and gold gems randomly to give the tags a bit of sparkle.
In hindsight I might have tried stamping the sentiment in a different colour to make it stand out more but I happy with the overall result.
