Hunkydory Bottom's Up Beer Themed Father's Day Card

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a smaller version of my Father's Day Beer Themed cards I shared last week. This is made using an older Hunkydory kit Bottom's Up! and the lovely Gold Mirri Card.

I love the busy background paper and used foam pads to make the bottles and sentiment stand out. To finish I added a die cut happy and stamped the sentiment.

You Passed Design Team Card for Imagine Design Create using Cars Stamps and Squares Mask with Distress Oxides

Hi Everyone,

Here is what I've made this week using the A6 stamp set Cars and the squares from the Circles and Squares Stencil by Imagine Design Create. I had a play with creating an inky background using the stencil and stamps, then fussy cut out the card and layered with foam pads.

Fiskarettes Design Team Flower Girl Scrapbook Page

Hello Everyone!

Today I am sharing a fun scrapbook page I've made for the Fiskarettes using all my Flower Punches!!! This is a photo of when my daughter was a flower girl / ring carrier.

I decided I wanted a super flowery background and just punched out lots of different sized flowers and added these around the photo in a cluster trailing off.

I kept this simple by just adding the date and a little lace to finish.

More inspiration can be found on the facebook Fiskarettes UK page and on Instagram!

Father's Day Beer Themed Cards using Hunkydory Bottom's Up and Marvellous Mirri Pad in Sensational Spots

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a couple of large 8" x 8" cards I made for Father's Day using an older Hunkydory kit Bottom's Up! and the lovely Marvellous Mirri Pad in Sensational Spots. I have these cards and a few more different designs for sale in Sarah's Flowers of Wisbech - if you are local to Wisbech and you've not been to Sarah's Flowers in Market Street take a look - it's like an Aladdin's cave of beautiful flowers and gifts!

I love the foil detail on the Hunkydory card and matched this with the Gold Mirri Card and the Sensational Spots Mirri Pad. To finish I added a die cut happy and stamped the sentiment.

Imagine Design Create Design Team Card using Doddled Flowers Stamps and Circles, Butterflies and Hearts Stencils with Nuvo Embellishment Mousse

Hi and Welcome Back!

Today I am sharing a tutorial for a card I have made using the Doddled Flowers Stamps, Circles 6 x 6 Stencil and Butterflies and Hearts Stencil by Imagine Design Create. I have also used the lovely Nuvo Embellishment Mousse in Pacific Teal and Lilac Lavender.

I also used white cardstock, scalloped edge card blank, Versafine Ink in Onyx Black, white gel pen and a Black Fineliner.

I started by blending the two mousse colours through the circle stencil and then (using what I had to hand) scraping the mousse across the stencil with the end of a paintbrush to create texture.

I'm very impressed with how the mousse dries hard and is easy to stamp on! Once dry I decided to cut the circle out as I didn't like the background around the circle. I then stamped around the edges using different stamps in turn.

Then I played about with making a scraped mousse background adding in some pen through the stencil love hearts and a pen border. I also added white gel pen to the flower outlines and hearts on the circle. I then stamped the sentiment and did the same with this.

Here are some photos of the finished card trying to show the beautiful shimmer of the embellishment mousse and texture:
