Lemon Shortbread Fairy Flower Scent DT Card for Challenge #36

Good Morning and Welcome Back!
Today I am sharing my Design Team card for Lemon Shortbread's new blog challenge #36.

For this Challenge I have used the really cute Fairy Flower Scent digi stamp. For this card I had Mother's Day in mind as that is coming up (In the UK). This stamp is so cute, really fell in love with this beautiful fairy  :)

Products used:
Lemon Shortbread Fairy Flower Scent digi stamp
Stampin' Up! Flower Punch
Promarkers - various colours
White Gel Pen
Coloured Card / green vellum
Flower Paper (Trimcraft

I used some pretty flowery background paper and matched my colours for the layout to this. I used Promarkers to colour my fairy and then went over the white parts with a gel pen to make them pop. I die cut some leaves in green vellum and card and punched a few flowers. Matting on bright orange for a contrast and finishing with some gems/pearls.

Thanks for looking!

Christening Card using Lili of the Valley stamp

Hello Everyone and Welcome Back!

Today I am sharing a card I made using a beautiful stamp from Lili of the Valley. I printed out the details and part fussy cut the gown on the baby before die cutting the scalloped circle with dies from The Works.

For the Background I used a Stampin' Up! embossing folder and the leaves are a punch by SU also. A Spellbinders scalloped border for the middle and to finish I used gems and Card Candi. Love this sweet stamp.

Thanks for looking,

Fiskarettes UK Scrapbook page using Star Power Punch

Good Morning to you All and Welcome Back!

TodaI am sharing with you my latest scrapbook page using Fiskars Star Power Punch and the Star Intricate Border Punch.

I created the background using Distress Stains as lines and my little girl helped splat the colour on. Then I added lines of Gesso using a plastic card to try and create rays of light for this piece and sprayed with some Distress sprays for a bit of shine. I used a white pen and twinkling H2Os for the title and added my corrugated stars and small white stars to the background for extra detail.

Head on over to the Fiskarettes Face Book page for more fab projects and inspiration!

Glitter 'N' Sparkle DT Card for Challenge #227 using Crafts and Me Digi

Good Morning to you All!

Today a new challenge starts over at the Glitter 'N' Sparkle Challenge Blog. I bring you my latest Glitter 'N' Sparkle Challenge Blog DT card. The challenge theme this week is Ribbon and Lace. The sponsor this week is Crafts and Me and the digi I have used is Midnight by Sara Burrier. This stamp is so cute perfect for a magical Birthday card.

So I have started a Kit and Clowder class - the skin and hair one! Hopefully you can see I've learnt a bit and only been going through the lessons a little bit. I used Promarkers and feel so proud of how the skin looks :) I might have gotten carried away with the hair but I just had these beautiful streaks in my mind. I matched some patterned paper to the leaves on her dress and added my ribbon through the middle and two loops of ribbon to the side of the card. I die cut the greeting and coloured the Card Candi with the Promarkers I used for the hair.

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
Die Cuttin Divas: Valentines Colours

* World Wide Open Design Team Challenge Blog : Anything Goes *
* Carla's DT Favourite Winner *
Thanks for looking and don't forget to join in with the

Oddball Art DT card for February Challenge - Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Good Morning Everyone!

Today we have a new challenge starting over on the Oddball Art Stamps blog!
The challenge theme for this month is Crazy Little Thing Called Love and the digi stamp I used is No 28 and is from the set Kawii Clouds Hearts and Stars

I wanted to keep things simple and create a fun background for these cards, I used Distress stain in Aged Mahogany and for the first card I laided some water down then put the stain on and the sprizted with some Distress Spray in Picked Raspberry. I then die cut the word Love (SU Die) from this piece and put back in the letter centres to create a negaive space word (If that makes sense!). I coloured the cloud and hearts with Promarkers and fussy cut these out.

For the second card I used Distress stain in Aged Mahogany over the dry card and using a water filled brush I dropped water ontoo the background and left to dry. I used the die cut word Love from the first card on this piece. I coloured the cloud and hearts with Promarkers and fussy cut these out. Layering both cards with a dark red on vanilla to finish.
