Wooden Owls - LC Designs Thursday Blog Project by Sarah

Good Morning Everyone! 

Today I am sharing something a little bit different. I have used the fab paper pack - Quirky Quilts to decorate some wooden owl shapes - cut out for me by my lovely husband!

How cute are these right!?
Here is a list of materials and products I used for this project: 

LC Designs 6x6 Paper Pack - Quirky Quilts
Wooden Owl Shapes

White, Black and Orange Card stock

 Circle Dies

Triangle Punch (Xmas Tree Punch)

Glue and Sandpaper 

To make - I spread the glue over the whole side of the wood and then put the papers on, smoothing out any bubbles or creases. Once completly dried I trimmed down and sanded the edges to give them a shabby style finish. I then die cut the circles for the eyes and punched the triangle for the beak and glued these on too!

21st Male Birthday Card

Hello Everyone!
 

Today I bring you a card I made for a 21st Birthday. I decided to stick to the classic red, blue and white colours and used a mixture of stamping, die cuts and foam shapes.
 

A simple yet arty design! The stamps look like paint splats and this contrast with the celebration stars :)

Monochrome Wavy Hedgehogs Birthday Card

Good Morning and Welcome Back!
 

Today I bring you a commission for a Birthday Card. I was having a play with monochrome and LC Designs Wavy Hedgehogs stamp.
 

I kept the colour scheme simple using black ink and card. I added clear shimmer to parts of the image and die cut the greeting and lettering. I also lightly distressed the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.

For the LC Designs - Team Challenge # 70 - Create a Scene, I have used the lovely Wavy Elephants Stamp Set and the Paper Pack Falling Daisies. I used Pro-markers to colour the elephants and flowers - Distress Inks for the background. I love the cuteness of this stamp and the sentiments are fab!

New Baby Boy :)

Good Morning to you All!

Today I bring you a personal card which I made for the new addition to the family! I used a selection of toppers and backing card from Hunkydory and some gingham card from my stash.
 

I kept the colour scheme simple to tie in with the nature of the card and added some blue gems for extra detail.
