21st Birthday Cupcake Card

Good Morning to you All!
 

Today I bring you a commision for a 21st Birthday. I sketched the numbers and had cut the card. Decorated with cupcake paper and traced the outline of the numbers in white.

To finish I added glittery cupcake toppers, ribbon and the name in sparkly white and blue lettering.

Tea Cup 3D Card using Fabulous Tea & Cakes - House of Zandra

50th Birthday Card with Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics

Good Morning Everyone!
 

Today I bring you a commision for a 50th Birthday. Purple and butterflies was the theme - two of my favourite things :)

For this cards I have used the stamp and die set from Stampin' Up! - Butterfly Basics. The swirly leaves are from a Tonic set and the lettering is from Lawn Fawn. Extra detail included gems, pearls and glittery butterflies.

Mother's Day Flower Card using Sizzix Die

Good Morning and Welcome Back!

Here are the last selection of cards I have designed for Mother's Day. I have die cut a Sizzix flower in different colour papers and layered onto a simple background to make the flowers "pop".

I love the spotty paper, very cute and I have finished the card with matching Card Candi and a greeting :)

Silhouette Mother & Daughter Card - Thursday Digi-Stamp Blog Project for Little Claire

Good Morning Peeps! 

It's Sarah here with a new Digi-Stamp Project. I have used the beautiful Silhouette Mother & Daughter Digi-Stamp.

With Mother's Day this Sunday I thought this Digi-Stamp would be perfect for a special card for my Mum!

 

Here is a list of materials and products I used for this card:

Little Claire Silhouette Mother Daughter Digi-Stamp

Computer Font - Bradley Hand ITC

White A4 Card Stock - for base

Flower backing paper - The Paperstack

Pink & Pink Spotty Papers

Spiral Flower Die - Stampin' Up!

Flower Punch - Stampin' Up!

Glue, Foam Pads, Bone Folder, Pearls, Black Pro-marker, Clear and Pink Gems

How I made my card:

1/. Print out the Digi-Stamp and greeting onto smooth white card, trim the image down so it is smaller then an A5 card. Fold the A4 white card to create an A5 base.

2/. Trim down the pink and flower backing papers to create boarder around the Digi-Stamp image.

3/. Layer papers and Digi-Stamp image using glue and foam pads onto the A5 base. 

4/. Die cut 3 spiral flowers from the pink, pink spotty and flower papers. Use dab of glue and roll the flowers into shape and glue the end base to the flower base to finish. Glue flowers to card and add clear gems to centres.
Add three small pink gems to the bunch of flowers the Mother is holding.

5/. Punch out 6 flowers in pink and flower paper and curl using the bone folder. Using foam pads adhere onto card. 

6/. Using the black Pro-marker colour the pearls black and leaves to dry. Then add the pearls to the centres of the flowers for cute detail which ties in with black silhouette image!

Little Claire's DT Digi-Stamp Challenge # 3 - Shaped Card - Digi Hammock

Good Morning Everyone!
 

For the Little Claire's DT Digi-Stamp Challenge # 3 - Shaped Card I have used the Digi Stamp - Hammock. I am trying to create some interesting men cards and this challenge was perfect for this. I decided to use a star die to cut out my own star shaped card.

I resized the Hammock to fit across the star and coloured using Pro-markers. I cut out the patterned paper which is Little Claire's Tartan Paper Pack - beautiful quality :) For the extra detail I added three star eyelets, some brown raffia (roughly trimmed at edges and a Birthday greeting. Love this Digi-Stamp and the colours of the Tartan Paper.

Fabulous Tea & Cakes Cards for Mother's Day using House of Zandra

Good Morning to you All!

Here are the second two cards I have created using The House of Zandra CD Fabulous Tea & Cakes to create my own card layout. I am loving this CD as the illustrations are lovely. I imported the image into Photoshop and added the text.

I printed the image twice so I could cut and layer up certain parts of the cards. To finish I matted onto brown shimmer card and added some Card Candi on one and red pearls on the other for extra detail. Tomorrow is the first of my Little Claire's cards, please come back and check out the card for the Design Team challenge :)

Mother's Day Owl Cards

Good Morning My Friends!
 

With Mother's Day on the horizon I have been busy during my little ones naps working on a few cards ready for the 15th of March. I got this delightful template from The House of Zandra and just used my punches, for the eyes and feet, to make them neater and symmetrical.

 I used different patterned papers for the body and finished the card by having the owl hold a daisy with a printed Mother's Day greeting.

I think everyone will love these owl cards and they can be adapted  for any occasion :)
