Lemon Shortbread Challenge #34 DT card using Owl on Branch

Good Morning and Welcome Back!
Today I am sharing my Design Team card for Lemon Shortbread's new blog challenge #34.

For this Challenge I have used the super cute Owl on a Branch. As we are in the run up to Valentine's Day I kept this in mind for my theme and colour scheme!

I used so free papers from a magazine and made the heart border using Fiskars Intricate Border Punch. I added punched flowers and used Picked Raspberry Distress Ink round the edges. I coloured the owl in with my Promarkers and added gem and pearls to finish.

Fiskarettes Wedding Scrapbook Page using Intricate Hearts Punch

Good Morning and Welcome Back!

TodaI can share with you some more details on what I used for my Wedding Scrapbook Page. I used the stunning Intricate Hearts Border Punch, intricate daisy punch and flower punch from Fiskars.

I started with a white page that had clear embossed flowers on it and used Distress Inks from where I wanted the photo and worked outwards getting lighter as I went. I added white acrylic paint and metail purple paint over top to create a shabby fun look. I punched out the various hearts and flowers to create pretty decorations. I finished by adding some gold glitter letters for the title.

Oddball Challenge Reminder - A Winters Tale - DT Card

Hi Oddballs!

Here is my challenge reminder DT Card for the challenge - A Winters Tale and I am using a digi from the January's New Release stamps!

I have used the fab digi Charlie's Gone Fishing #361 and have created this card ready for Valentine's Day :)

For this make I printed onto smooth cardstock, then used Distress Inks for the background as I wanted to create a night time sky for the stars and keep the forground simple for the fishing. I splashed drops of water onto the background to create a mystical / starry / snowy look and went over the stars and heart in the ink to make them pop. I coloured Charlie using ProMarkers and matted onto red cardstock. I die cut the Lawn Fawn Stitched heart and X-cut Star Flourish Die and used gold thread and yellow gems to finish.

Don't forget to join in with the blog and facebook challenges!

I have entered the card in the following challenges:

Reminder to watch LC Designs on Hochanda 1pm today!!!

Good Morning my lovelies!

Here is another card I have created for the LC Designs Hochanda product lauch at 1pm today! I love butterflies and this stamp is so cute! I decided to try and recreate the stamp by making a "card full of butterflies"!

I used LC Designs splodge papers for the colour inspiration and background, stamping extra butterflies to cut out from other LC Designs stamps that featured butterflies :)

A close up of the butterflies, made to look like the are floating by using acetate strips.

A side view - I just loved making this card :)

Fiskarettes DT Scrapbook Page using Banner Power Punch

Good Morning and Welcome Back!

TodaI can share with you some more details on what I used for my Scrapbook Page. I used the wonderful Fiskars Banner Power Punch and an aluminium can to create the banner decoration. This punch is so amazing - punched through the can like butter and you can used it on chipboard / cork and other thicker materials!

I selected some blue and green papers as the theme was about my Little Girl and Daddy. I die cut the photos using various dies and used a small china plate to create the circle part (drawing and hand cutting). I added my banners and used the Fiskars Intricate Daisy punch over some banners to create a focal point near the title.

Sparkling Diamond Anniversary Card using LC Designs Glitter Film & Tonic Dies

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing a special card I made. I wanted to keep the colours simple and try and create a diamond effect rather than silver. I used a really magical film called Sparkle Glitter Sheets from LC Designs for this!

Here you can really see how the light catches the film to make it like diamonds.

I wanted to create lots of different layers and textures with this card due to the limited colour. I used the film on plain white card and cut out the features using Tonic Dies, used my score board to create a criss-cross background and scissors to rough up some of the edges. I printed the wording in grey and covered these in the film too. Adding a few punched flowers and gemstones to finish.
